IMED Hospitals have held an informative workshop about healthy foods and nutrition, aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 8, at the international school of Lope de Vega. This activity formed part of the “XII International Health, Environment and Entrepreneurship fair” that the international Lope de Vega school celebrated within its instalations just previous to the Easter holidays, as they have been doing for the last few years.
In the workshop, organized by IMED, the children were able to learn in a practical way, the basic concepts of the food chart, with activities such as colouring and glueing the foods in the right area of the food chart or by making flashcards from the explanations given to them by the hospital staff.
IMED has become a regular collaborator in this event that the Lope de Vega school celebrates yearly, to try to spread advice and healthy lifestyle tips on to younger children.
