Dominique Schoofs, Alicante provinces Belgian Consul, held an official reception at the restaurant 'La Cantera'.
The reception was held to commemorate 'Belgium Kings day' which is celebrated every year on the 15th of November.
The national holiday 'Koningsday' has been held yearly since 1866, celebrating the first Belgian king, Leopoldo.
The event attracted people from all over the province related to the Belgian community.
